The M-IRAC.1 is able to store IR codes after they have been learnt by the IR learner. The module can store 650 IR codes, which can then be used to control multitude appliances. Software upgrades to the M-IRAC.1are also possible via the HDL KNX software.
The ability to emit IR codes allows the M-IRAC.1to manage any device that has an IR receiver, from televisions and air conditioners, to DVD players and amplifiers, control over all appliances that use IR communication is possible. The module is able to support multiple control modes such as single control, repeat control, sequence control, air-conditioner control, universal control and current detection.
Up to 650 IR codes
A massive 650 IR codes can be stored on the module, giving the user total control over every appliance that utilizes IR communication. A total of 150 IR codes can be used for universal control enabling the module to replace any standard IR controller. The remaining codes can then be used to control all functions available on an air conditioner.
Built-in Current detection
With a dedicated current detection function, the unit can monitor the standby currant and the working current of an appliance. These two current values enable the IR emitter to recognize if the appliance is active or on standby. The IR emitter is then able to send the corresponding IR code accordingly.
